In March 2019, I started to capture images of families in San Francisco during the outbreak of the Coronavirus. The result of it is this photo essay book “The Window Shot."
In an authentic way, families in and around San Francisco gave me a glimpse into their lives during the shelter in place order. Each photograph is accompanied by a personal handwritten note. Without any input or guidance, the families shared their thoughts, struggles, and hopes during this time.
“The Window Shot” is my way of sharing these stories with you. It is a tribute to the spirit of this city and its community.
