This full outdoor session takes place in a nature or urban place of your choosing (I'm happy to offer ideas!). Locations can be in the Bay Area, with a small travel fee for destinations outside of coverage. We will collaborate to find a spot that has character and meaning. A place that is friendly for the kids, enjoyable and memorable for you.
It's a full session! We have plenty of time to cover it all, family portraits, parent/child, child portraits, and lots of storytelling.
I love places that have variety; maybe some direct sun and shade. Or perhaps some buildings we can explore. Scenes that ignite the imagination are especially fun and inspiring...
Outdoor sessions are adventurous, and involve the senses. These are a good fit if you're not afraid to put your bare feet in the water, or snuggle with your babies in a daisy-filled patch of grass.

FAQs
Should we match?
No, the most important part for outdoor sessions is that you're dressed or an adventure. Let the kids get dirty! Bring a few cool pieces of clothing that we can play around with, try out for shots, etc. I may also bring something we can incorporate into your session.
What will we do during the session?
You and your family will get to play, explore, and chill. I provide guidance for what spots might provide the best composition or lighting, but we always go with the flow - especially if you have toddlers or little kids with their own ideas.
Tips in general?
Let your kids play, get dirty, be goofy. Don't try to make them act a certain way to get the shot. I will playfully incorporate them when the time is right, and I'll guide them as needed.
How long until I get my photos?
I typically give a sneak peek within two or three days , and your full gallery is delivered within 1 week.
