The moment Didi launched the Mentoring Cottage, I had to learn from her. She possesses the leadership and decisiveness I desperately needed for my craft.

Watching her immerse herself in her creative world, studying the setting while communicating directly with her subjects, was truly inspiring. She encouraged me to ask for what I wanted without hesitation and to take my time to get the shot I had in mind.

When I returned to New York City, I conducted a test shoot in a challenging environment, photographing someone I had never met. I incorporated everything Didi taught me. Rather than worry about perfection, I focused on feelings and emotions.

After that shoot, I already saw a noticable difference in myself and my work.

Those days with Didi were an invaluable gift and I am profoundly grateful.
